Alpine offers comprehensive equipment shipping services to ensure your gear arrives safely and on time for your ski adventure. We ship ski equipment, apparel, and accessories to destinations worldwide.

3. Resort Direct Shipping
Our popular Resort Direct service delivers your equipment directly to your ski resort:
- Equipment delivered to resort rental shop or hotel
- Available at 150+ partner resorts worldwide
- Equipment ready for pickup upon arrival
- Return shipping included in service
- Additional $30 service fee applies
Resort Direct shipping must be arranged at least 7 days before your travel date.
4. Packaging and Handling
Professional Packaging
All equipment is professionally packaged to ensure safe transport:
- Skis and snowboards in protective ski bags
- Boots and helmets in padded boxes
- Fragile items wrapped with bubble protection
- Weather-resistant outer packaging
Special Handling
Certain items require special handling and may incur additional fees:
- Oversized equipment (skis over 190cm): $10 surcharge
- Fragile electronics: $15 special handling fee
- Hazardous materials (wax, tuning chemicals): Restrictions apply
5. Order Processing and Tracking
Processing Time
- In-stock items: 1-2 business days
- Custom equipment: 5-7 business days
- Special orders: 10-14 business days
- Peak season (Dec-Feb): Add 1-2 days to all processing times
Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information via email and SMS. Track your package through our website or directly with the shipping carrier.
6. Delivery Requirements
Address Requirements
- Complete and accurate shipping address required
- Apartment/suite numbers must be included
- PO Boxes not accepted for equipment shipments
- Signature required for orders over $500
Delivery Attempts
Carriers will attempt delivery up to 3 times. If delivery is unsuccessful, packages will be held at the local facility for pickup or returned to Alpine (return shipping charges apply).
7. International Shipping Considerations
Customs and Duties
- Customer responsible for all customs duties and taxes
- Accurate customs declarations provided with all shipments
- Delays may occur due to customs processing
- Some countries restrict certain equipment types
Restricted Items
Certain items cannot be shipped internationally due to regulations. Contact us for specific restrictions to your destination country.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
Damage Claims
If your equipment arrives damaged:
- Document damage with photos before unpacking
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Keep all packaging materials for inspection
- We'll arrange replacement or repair at no cost
Lost Packages
If your package is lost in transit, we'll work with the carrier to locate it. If not found within 7 business days, we'll send a replacement at no charge.
9. Return Shipping
For returns and exchanges:
- Free return shipping on defective items
- Customer pays return shipping for exchanges and returns
- Prepaid return labels available for $15
- Items must be returned in original packaging
